Artist Updates & Previews!!!


Get ready to usher in the holiday season when you attend the fall & holiday art show at The Garden Gallery!!! A dazzling array of holiday decorations, scents, tasty treats and Jewelry will get you in a festive mood!!!

Here is a glimpse of some of the artists:

Melissa Olson from Instant Eden will be custom mixing diffusors. Check out her website at http://www.instanteden.com/default.asp to take a peek at her unique fragrance & aromatherapy solutions!

Also, Becki Kahn will be there representing the Silpada line. www.mysilpada.com/becki.kahn is where you can preview some of the beautiful sterling pieces she has to offer!

Athena Cho is joining us for the first time! She enjoys creating found object art, collage, altered books and other mixed-media pieces. She has been featured in the OPS Art Faculty Show and the Metro Community College Student Art Show.

Another new member of our group will be Sue Kalicki. Like Athena, Sue is a mixed-media artist and teacher. Sue enjoys creating altered books, collages, art journals and other mixed-media pieces. Her work has recently been featured in 4 issues of Somerset Studio, a national paper arts magazine.

Goodies....Gorgeous, gourmet cookies that are oh so good! Just you wait....these cookies will totally "wow" you! Bridget Bassett is the gal behind these "goodies"!

Tastefully Simple is always a must for easy entertaining! Cindy Bauermeister will have lots of goodies to make your holidays a little bit easier.

Sue Perkins has been a professional actor-singer for over 50 years, and is now in Act III of her life as an author, using her dramatic experiences to enhance character development in her books. She will sing WHITEY and ME: The Truth about the Treehouse. She lives in the Gretna area.

Designs of steel encircling beautiful pieces of glass...MaryAnne Chisholm of Hot Flash Metals always has beautiful work! Many of you have seen her art displayed this past year at The Garden Gallery. If you aren't familiar with it yet, you will be!!!

Jenny Thompson has joined me again for this show. "From fun to elegant, from classy to chic, Sassy Glass & Gifts is perfect for any occasion!" Sassy Glass & Gifts...with Attitude.

EXCITING STUFF from Melody Stohlman! Chick-er-Doodles Arts--Quilted Holiday Wall Hangings-Felted Ball Christmas Trees-Painted Holiday Sleds! How Fun!!!

The Webb's have designed some beautiful stained glass holiday blocks and angels. their butterfly stakes are great little gifts!

Another "newbie" to our group is Cat Keller with Two Trendy Handbags. Totally cool bags and goodies!!!

And then, there is me...Michele Minnick and The Painted Bowl. Whimsical painting is what makes me happy! Wine glasses, bowls, furniture, custom family trays...I may even have a few new things (tease tease) to tempt you this holiday show!
