Comfort Zone....

Today, I totally stepped out of my comfort zone.
Let me explain....
About a month ago, my friend, Melody, from The Garden Junkie, asked if I'd be interested in being a part of a "round robin" artist group.
Silly me...I said yes.
Went to the first "coffee talk" and met AMAZING women.
Linda, Melody, & Linda are the other three women in this group.  I am definitely humbled to be a part of this creative clan.  Not going to lie....I didn't say a word at this first meeting.  Walked out going..."What the &*(#$& am I doing here?"
Then, (after a couple of weeks), I put on my big girl panties.....and took a drive to Melody's.
I took a wrong turn.....hmmm.....I wondered if that was a "sign"....

Then...there she was, ready to welcome me!

I felt very welcomed and honestly....it was one of the best days I have had in a LONG time!
The energy was so uplifting!!!!

Yep....I squirted a little paint on my "oh so professional plasic plate"...and a little heart appeared!
This was the sign I needed!!!

Here is a glimpse at my first section....

We have a couple weeks until we meet again and then we each will get one section of each of our creations to combine however we want!  A true collage of individual artists coming together!
Do you get a feel for my thought process?  I decided to paint what is going on in my life right now.
Plants
Dogs
Track

Sometimes it is okay to step out of your comfort zone.....
